My story
FROM SCHOOL PROJECTS TO DIY QUEEN
From childhood, my dad taught me the magic of presentation. What started as a skill in "packaging" school projects grew into a lifelong love for aesthetics. This passion led to scholarships, great jobs, and an extensive resume. Now, I channel that creativity into DIY, constantly nurturing my creative energy.
THE SPARK OF DIY PASSION
My DIY adventure kicked off when my husband and I bought our first home just before the global pandemic. With most stores closed, home improvement stores became our haven. Our 1950s bungalow fixer-upper became our DIY playground, and we turned it into a beautiful space, gaining over $100,000 in equity—all by doing it ourselves.
TRANSFORMING OUR HOME
Over three years, I transformed every corner of our home using sweat equity and a growing collection of tools. Now, instead of thinking "Where do I find a contractor?" my first thought is, "How much will supplies cost?" I’ve learned to see spaces in a different way…for their potential, not the work that is required, and I’ve been able to dream up some pretty amazing spaces so far.
