Built-In Elements
This nursery transformation began with a challenge: incorporating a full-sized Murphy Bed in what used to be an office space. To disguise it as an armoire, we refaced the Murphy Bed to match the crib's rattan and rounded shape. Custom-made resin handles with floral leaf details added a unique touch. The standout feature is the accent wall behind and above the crib, where painted rounded stripes create a canopy effect, enhanced by 3D half-round trim pieces. These arches continue behind the refurbished dresser and changing station, seamlessly tying the room together.
Furniture
The furniture in this nursery is both functional and stylish. The refurbished dresser and changing station with custom-made handles provide ample storage while fitting the bohemian theme. In the cozy rocker corner, a custom-tiled top table with fluted column wood detail offers a chic spot for essentials. The Murphy Bed, disguised as an armoire, ensures the room remains versatile, perfect for accommodating guests.
Decor
The decor is rich in bohemian charm and thoughtful details. An organic mirror and shelves behind the dresser display decor and mementos. Plenty of plant decor hangs on a ceiling rod, bringing life and greenery into the space. Customized curtain panels enhance the color scheme, which is inspired by a bohemian vintage printed rug with rich peachy-pinks, black, and tan hues. The painted arches add a whimsical touch, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
