In our charming 1950 bungalow kitchen, we embraced a sleek black, white, and grey color scheme. The original white cabinets, still in great shape, provided a classic backdrop. We added dramatic contrasts with black modern cabinet pulls and geometric light fixtures. The standout feature is the bold hexagon trident patterned floor, laid in a starburst design, adding a dynamic visual interest to the space.
Built-In Elements
We retained the sturdy white cabinets, enhancing them with new black hardware. Stainless steel appliances replaced the outdated white ones, bringing a modern touch. The black farmhouse sink became a focal point, harmonizing with the other black accents.
