SPACE-MAXIMIZING CORNER PANTRY

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS:

Built-In Elements

This home featured a small corner pantry with the kitchen configuration the owners selected. Originally equipped with four rows of wire shelving and awkward dimensions, the space needed a complete overhaul. We started from scratch by removing all shelving, patching the walls, and painting the space a bold, neutral greenish-taupe.

To maximize space, we installed a mixture of custom-built and prefabricated elements. An IKEA kitchen tower was used to create an "appliance garage" for vertically storing small appliances when not in use. Additionally, two pre-built white cabinets were installed at the base of the area to house dry goods. Custom wood-stained shelves matching the LVP flooring were installed at appropriate heights to accommodate various food-related items such as baking needs, dressings and oils, non-refrigerated fruits and vegetables, and bulk items. This strategic use of shelving maximizes vertical space, making the pantry much more functional for the entire family.

Color Scheme

The color scheme features a bold, neutral greenish-taupe that adds depth and sophistication to the pantry. The custom wood-stained shelves and white cabinets create a cohesive and stylish look that blends seamlessly with the overall kitchen design.

CONCLUSION:

This pantry transformation maximizes space and functionality while adding a stylish touch to the kitchen. By combining custom-built and prefabricated elements, we created a highly efficient storage solution that meets the needs of the entire family. Ready to transform your home?
