This builder-grade full bath, attached to a kid's playroom, was transformed into a vibrant, playful space. While the shower surround, toilet, and vanity/top remained in place, we maximized the potential of this white space. With a budget of $150, we painted a colorful mural that matches the playful vibe just outside. Utilizing affordable paint samples, we sketched and covered the walls with whimsical shapes, flowers, and squiggles, bringing joy and color to the room.
Furniture
To elevate the look and feel, we swapped out the builder-grade plate glass mirror for a charming woven jute rectangle mirror sourced from Facebook Marketplace. Feminine floral stone handle pulls were added to the vanity, enhancing its appeal. A floral shower curtain and light blue rugs/mats add both functionality and style, making this bathroom a delightful extension of the playroom.
Decor
The decor is kept simple yet impactful. Large botanical posters framed as artwork bring a touch of nature indoors, complementing the colorful mural. By removing some of the builder elements like the mirror and large towel bars, we simplified and modernized the space, making it truly enjoyable and functional for the kids.
